1. RETURNS
If you receive a faulty, defective, damaged or incorrect product, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist you.
Our products include:
-
Electronics and electronic accessories
-
Cameras and camera accessories
-
Kitchen appliances and small household appliances
-
Cookware, pots and pans
-
Kitchen utensils and other kitchenware
Please contact us before returning a product so we can explain the return process and arrange any necessary inspection or collection.
Change-of-mind returns may be considered depending on the product, its condition and the circumstances of the purchase, subject to applicable law. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights.
2. DAMAGED, FAULTY OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS
If your product arrives damaged, does not function properly, has a defect or differs from what you ordered, please contact us.
To help us resolve the issue, please provide:
-
Your order number and full name
-
The name of the product
-
A description of the issue
-
Clear photographs or a video showing the problem, where applicable
Please retain the original packaging, accessories and proof of purchase where available.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the resolution may include a repair, replacement or refund. Qualifying defective goods will be handled in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008, including applicable remedies available to consumers.
3. 12-MONTH CAMERA WARRANTY
Cameras purchased from HOMORA LIVING & ELECTRONICS include a 12-month warranty, subject to the applicable warranty terms and conditions.
The warranty covers qualifying manufacturing defects that arise during the 12-month warranty period.
To submit a warranty claim, customers should contact us and provide:
-
Proof of purchase or order number
-
The camera model
-
A description of the fault
-
Photographs or a video demonstrating the issue, where applicable
Customers should retain the camera's supplied accessories, batteries, cables and manuals where available.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, unauthorised repairs or modifications, or normal wear and tear where excluded under the applicable warranty terms.
Please contact us before attempting repairs or arranging a return. We will explain the next steps and any necessary inspection.
The 12-month warranty is additional to, and does not replace or restrict, any rights or remedies available under applicable South African consumer-protection laws.
4. ELECTRONICS AND KITCHEN APPLIANCES
Please use electronics and kitchen appliances according to the manufacturer's instructions.
If an electronic device or appliance is faulty, defective or damaged, contact us for assistance before attempting repairs or modifications.
Where an inspection is reasonably necessary, we will explain the process before proceeding.
Applicable manufacturer warranties, where provided, and statutory consumer rights remain unaffected by this policy.
5. COOKWARE AND KITCHENWARE
Please inspect cookware, utensils and other kitchenware upon delivery and contact us if an item arrives damaged, incorrect or defective.
For voluntary change-of-mind exchanges, products should generally be unused, clean and in their original packaging, with all supplied parts and accessories where applicable.
Products damaged through misuse or returned in an unsuitable condition may not qualify for a voluntary change-of-mind exchange, subject to applicable law. This does not affect your rights regarding defective products.
6. EXCHANGES
If you would like to exchange an eligible product, please contact us before returning it.
Exchanges are subject to product availability and the circumstances of the return. If the requested replacement is unavailable, we will discuss the available options with you.
Faulty, defective, damaged or incorrect products will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer-protection requirements.
7. REFUNDS
If your return qualifies for a refund, we will explain the next steps once your request has been reviewed.
Where appropriate, refunds will be issued to the original payment method. The time required for the funds to reflect may depend on your payment provider or bank.
Refunds and other remedies required by law will be processed in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
8. RETURN SHIPPING AND COLLECTIONS
Return shipping arrangements and costs depend on the reason for the return and applicable law.
For faulty, defective, damaged or incorrect products, we will handle return arrangements and costs in accordance with applicable consumer-protection requirements.
For large appliances, bulky kitchen equipment or fragile electronics, including cameras, please contact us before arranging transportation so we can advise on the appropriate return or collection process.
